5. A good reason to quit smoking. This brief interview discusses the risk of lung cancer in former smokers, comparing them with people who never smoked, and those that continue to smoke. Click here.

7. Back pain. These 2 links were featured on NPR on 3/2/06. The first (click here) is an overview of what can cause back pain, and the second (click here) is an interview with one of the world's experts on back surgery, who also suffers from back pain.
8. Exercise myths. This is an entertaining look at some myths we hold regarding exercise. It uses good science in answering such questions as: is the pre-exercise stretch useful; are weekend warriors harming themselves; anyone can have abs of steel if they work hard enough; and many others. 9. How do I do nasal saline irrigation? This link shows you how to use a neti pot. When using this, make sure that you don't use iodized salt, as this can cause damage to the nose. It is best to use either sea salt or Kosher salt. This is a great technique to work on those allergies without medicines. This is another good link, but it has a short advertisement at the beginning.
