Douglas L. Bovee, MD, FACP
Dr. Bovee was born in Lansing, MI and attended the University of Florida College of Pharmacy before graduating from medical school at the University of Miami. After his internship at the Public Health Service Hospital in San Francisco, he completed his internal medicine training at the University of New Mexico in 1981. He practiced internal medicine and addiction medicine in Seattle before moving to Eugene in 1992. He acquired his adult medicine practice from Dr. David White in 1999, and moved it to River Road Medical Group in 2004. Dr. Bovee is board certified in Internal Medicine and is certified as expert in addiction medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and of ASAM.
Patricia P. Buchanan, MD
She is originally from
Atlanta, Georgia and went to medical school at Tulane Medical School in New
Orleans, Louisiana. After internship Swedish hospital in Seattle, she worked as
an emergency room physician until joining RRMG in family practice in 1984. She
and her husband, Dr. Randy Buchanan who is an ENT physician in Eugene, moved
here with their three children in 1979. In addition to her full time Family
practice, Dr. Buchanan is also involved with clinical research studies.
Dirk G. deBroekert, P.A.C.
He is a Eugene native;
graduated from the U of O and spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy Hospital Corp. He
completed his physician assist training at Wichita State University in Kansas
and spent the next four years as Medical Director of the Yukon Flats Health
Center in Fort Yukon, Alaska. He has been at the River Road Medical Group after
returning to Eugene in 1985. His special interests include clinical research and
travel medicine, in addition to general Family practice.
Tish Davis, P.A.C.
Tish is from central Oregon. She received her physician assistant training at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, the only PA program with a pediatric emphasis. After completing her education, she returned to Oregon for employment and joined River Road Medical Group in 2005. She particularly enjoys working with children in addition to general family medicine.
